Exos Heroes is a South Korean gacha game developed by Ozoo. It is a hero collecting mobile role-playing game similar to the likes of Fate Grand Order and Langrissar. It combines the elements of turn-based combat and strategy games, focusing on recruiting and training characters to fill specific roles such as Tank, Healer, and Chaos.

Exos Heroes is primarily a strategy game that gives each user a boost with visible power bonuses between common and rare characters. Gacha fans will find standard features and characters such as crown controls, passives, elemental advantages, buffs, and debuffs. There are also elements inspired by random number generators like dodge and block. Aside from the barrage of dodging attacks, the statistics of CC resistance will not be affected (making CC one of the powerful elements in the game).

The combat of Exos Heroes revolves around mana. This eliminates the need for a traditional cooldown-based system, requiring characters to accumulate their own mana to cast skills. This will prevent an absurd level of power to be owned by one character, giving future players a chance to take down older users.  For comparison, gacha games tend to give each character a unique set of skills. As more characters are added, older characters become less appealing or even unnecessary. 

Exos Heroes’ character move sets are well-thought-out, giving each character a clear archetype. Each character has his own specialty and depends on one another to win as a team.
